NOTICE OF TIMER AND STROKE & TURN CLINICS

Please see the following information regarding 2 clinics taking place soon.  We were short of Stroke & Turn people for our Provincial Championships last weekend, so it would be great if we had some of our members participate in these clinics!

Swim Manitoba in Association with The Manitoba Marlins is hosting  two officials clinics in the next 2 weeks:

Both clinics will combine the Timer/Safety Marshall and Stroke & Turn courses. 

The dates are

Tuesday April 27 from 5:30 to 8 pm - Pan Am boardroom

Saturday May 1 from 7:30 to 10 am - Pan Am boardroom

If time is permitted we will go poolside for swimmer demos.

· There are two upcoming age group swim meets at Pan Am (GPI and Where Friends Meet) where you can obtain on deck evaluations.

Swim Manitoba is hosting Age Group Championships from July 21 to 25. 

· Over 1300 swimmers participate in this swim meet. 

· This is a five day event. 

· They will use two 50m tanks during prelims

· will require 32 timers (16 of which must have taken the stroke and turn course)

· and an additional 24 stroke and turn judges. 

Please encourage your members to participate in these clinics and to help out at upcoming swim meets. Please call the swim office if you have any additional questions.
