Hi everyone,
Here’s the upcoming events for the club.
General
Business Meeting – Saturday,
April 3rd – after swimming.
There was a couple of questions about moving the meeting to April 10th – but that
is the Easter Long week-end, and the following week-end is the provincials, so
the executive decided to keep the meeting date of April 3rd following swimming
in the St John’s College Staff Lounge. I apologize to anyone who cannot come
due to spring-break. Those who cannot come should give their views and proxy to
a like-minded member. The club needs to make significant changes to our
membership fee structure so this is an important meeting to attend.
Provincial
Masters Swim Championship - April
17th & 18th – Pan-Am Pool
Mickey has agreed to collect the entry forms and fees. Please make your cheques out to Mid-Can Masters.
Give them to Mickey on or before the deadline - March 27th.
Relays: There are two mixed, two female and two male
relays. Let Mickey know which ones you want to be in.
Silent auction gifts, timers and officials are needed for the meet. Let the
meet managers know if you are able to help with this dpickerl@inksterpark.ca or sstaylor@mts.net
Mid–Can
Progressive Supper – Saturday,
May 15th.
So far we have had one offer of a house for the progressive dinner. Ideally we
need two or three houses within walking, cycling rollerblading distance. Open
your hearts and your homes for the evening. Those that provide a home do not
need to provide food. If you are able to offer you home, please let our social
