Pop
Sidwell 2014
This
fall, Mid-Can Masters will again host the Pop Sidwell Swim
Meet. This will be the 39th year of the meet. The date
is Saturday, November
22nd 2
PM - 6 PM.
The club is asking for help in filling some very important
positions for the Swim Meet. The vacant positions are: •
Timers •
Head
Lane Timers •
Runners. The
Pop Sidwell Masters Swim Meet has the reputation for being
the best attended Masters swim meet in central Canada. This
is something we are proud of. To keep the tradition alive
volunteers are needed in some of the available official
meet positions. There is only eleven days until the meet,
and only 13 of the 27 positions are filled. If you are not
swimming, please consider supporting our club by
volunteering to work at the meet. Swim Manitoba policy
dictates that the host club provide at least 50% of the
officials and it is difficult to receive help from other
clubs if we are not able to show our commitment. You,
or your family and friends can sign up to volunteer here.
Use the Access Code Sidwell. Should
you have any questions or wish to volunteer by email
contact Bob
Modrcin.
For
those of you who plan to swim or go to the banquet, Bob
Groff would
like to get your requests by Nov
16 -
emails will do. He will be back at the pool Nov
18th and
that date is not too late for entries or banquet requests
but earlier would be appreciated. Entry Forms can be
downloaded here.
